We all knew this was going to come sooner or later. Miley Cyrus will end her role as “Hannah Montana” on the Disney Network at the end of its fourth season.
In a way this makes a lot of sense because she is getting older and her demographic is also getting older. Miley brings in the adult male crowd which is sick and perverted and you know there is some website somewhere with a countdown to her 18th birthday.
With Hannah Montana being the most successful kids show ever it will be hard to bring in another show to takes its place. The show garners an impressive five million viewers a week.
The finale of season three will air in March which will probably be some cliff hanger on whether Hannah Montana will leave the lime light or not.
This should tell television execs that the public is hungry for a good family show like they used to have on T.V. such as the Cosby Show.
I am not gonna lie I watch Hannah Montana with my two boys all the time, and a lot of the other Disney shows too. It sure as hell beats watching a bunch of fat overweight adults trying to lose weight or any of those stupid ass reality shows (Jersey Shore anyone).
Let us hope that Miley does not forget where she came from and sticks to her roots because we have enough crazy Britney Spears wannabes in the world.
